Dr. Kawther Saa’d Al Din

Kawther is International Baccalaureate Development and Recognition Manager in Africa, Europe and Middle East region since 2020. Her role includes collaborating with governments to improve recognition of IB programmes and supporting schools as they embark on their journey to become IB World Schools. She is also a workshop developer, member of the Diploma programme language acquisition curriculum review committee, and IB Educator Network lead educator, actively guiding trainers and participating in training IB workshop leaders and schools visitors.

In addition to serving as a member of the Jordanian Ministry of Education’s Board of Education for four years, Kawther was Pamoja Education’s Business Development consultant for the Middle East & Africa, and a teacher of English language and literature. She has also co-authored 3 IB DP English B textbooks for Oxford University Press.

Kawther holds an Ed.D in Administrator Leadership, an MA in Blended Learning & a BA in English Language & Literature. Her dedication to the development of learning and teaching has earned her the European Council of International Schools Award for the Promotion of International Education and the Stanford University Teacher Tribute.
